The DownShifters are a danish two-man trio playing blues and roots music. Using guitar, banjo, harmonica, bass and foot drums The DownShifters perform classic and original songs inspired by good old american music traditions – from acoustic/electric delta blues to banjo based old-time.
Our first album is now available for streaming. And it has even received af Danish Music Award 2025 nomination for “Best Blues Album Of The Year“!
Just go to your favourite streaming service and search for “The DownShifters”. You might stumble upon a few other bands with the same name as ours, but we are not the only people of good taste in this world, so that is to be expected.
